The holiday season in our community just wouldn’t be the same without the Blue Jacket Fantasy of Lights, and this year has been nothing short of AMAZING! Running from November 11th through December 31st, this annual event lights up the Christmas season (literally), offering a stunning display of festive lights and an incredible opportunity to support an important cause.
We’re excited to share that our very own Benny is once again featured in the light display, bringing extra cheer to the festivities! You saw Benny hard at work—nailing shingles down on a roof—adding a fun and festive touch to the dazzling scene. It’s always such a joy to see our mascot in the spotlight, and we couldn’t be prouder to have our very own light display shining brightly for all to enjoy.
As proud sponsors of the Blue Jacket Fantasy of Lights, we are honored to support their mission. Blue Jacket, a local nonprofit, works tirelessly to provide job training and transitional employment opportunities for individuals facing barriers to traditional employment. What makes this event even more special is the fact that it directly supports their incredible work.
In 2025 alone, 65 people were employed through the Fantasy of Lights event to help with setup, teardown, and nightly operations. What’s even more inspiring is that 100% of those employees—many of whom are transitioning into the workforce—were able to secure full-time, community-based jobs as a result of the experience and opportunities provided by Fantasy of Lights. It’s a testament to the power of this event, not just in creating a magical holiday experience for visitors, but also in making a tangible impact on the lives of individuals in need of support.
Every twinkling light and carefully curated display at the Fantasy of Lights represents more than just holiday cheer; it’s a beacon of hope for those working to overcome obstacles and build a brighter future. It’s a celebration of the spirit of giving, not only through the funds raised for Blue Jacket’s mission but also through the direct employment opportunities it provides for those they serve.
